Episode 13: The Wonder Years

This week, we're talking about scrapbooking our childhoods. Not our children's lives...this is all about scrapping our own childhood! You know...The Wonder Years. We'll discuss making a framework for your album, how to deal with having just a handful of photos, telling your story, finding images to go along with your childhood memories and more! Whether you've scrapped many pages about your childhood or none at all, we hope you'll be inspired to break out your pictures when this show is done!

Here are three ways to listen...

1) ScrapGals on Podomatic
2) ScrapGals on iTunes
3) Right here on this player...

Layouts we made to go along with this topic...

A Li'l Sweet, A Lotta Sass
My Girl
Dear Baby

We hope you'll leave us any comments you have and ideas for more podcasts!
Thanks for listening!

  1. Thank you for the podcast, listening to you two is like talking with friends about scrapbooking. I really liked this particular podcast because I haven't scrapped any of my childhood photos. I didn't know where to start and what papers go with old faded 70's photos... Anyway I am going to drag my kids to my hometown soon and take pictures of my favorite places and then I am going to jump right in! Thanks for the motivation and the wonderful podcast. I am hooked.

  2. I'm just going back through your older podcasts and finished this episode this morning. I wanted to suggest checking out "The History Project" by Kerri Bradford. It might be the starting point you need to get started on this project!

  3. OMG!!!! Jellybean Junction!!! My fifth grade teacher was Fran's sister or niece or something, and we watched that every week. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. I found y'all's podcast through Ali's blog and I'm listening to the back catalog. I'm from Nashville and your voices remind me of home :)
