Episode 21: Start to Finish

We're discussing one of our favorite type of projects - an album you create start to finish. They have a defined amount of space and a specific theme or topic. They might be a mini-album but could be full-size. Start to finish albums can focus on a series of photos from multiple years or just a longer story you want to tell in one album. We'll give you tips and tricks for creating an album start to finish!

Here are three ways to listen...

1) ScrapGals on Podomatic
2) ScrapGals on iTunes
3) Right here on this player...

Projects we made for this episode:
12 Things You've Taught Me by Tiffany
12 Things You've Taught Me by Tiffany (part 2)
What It Means to Be 13 - Part 1
What It Means to Be 13 - Part 2
What It Means to Be 13 - Part 3
13 by Tracie (in progress)

We hope you'll leave us any comments you have and ideas for more podcasts!
Thanks for listening!

  1. Great show as always. I really like an album with a defined start and end too. You definitely feel accomplished when you finish the whole project. I am working on a 12x12 PL style for a Europe Trip my hubby and I went on. It is way too many pictures to put in a mini album! I just made a baby book 6x6 mini for a friend. After I give it to her I will report back on if she has enough appreciation for the amount of effort and product I used! Can't wait to see your finished products.

Also, I would love for Tiffany to give tips on taking a good selfie. Mine always come out bad. I never know how to hold the phone and where to look.

    1. Hi there! I guess I need to take some notes the next time I take a selfie. For whatever reason, I tend to get some good ones. Lol! The next time we tape, I'll try to include some selfie tips. Thanks for listening and for taking the time to comment! :)

  2. I had to comment before I forget (again), I have scrapbooked my job both in layout form and in Project Life. I've definitely done more in Project Life than layouts but I intend to do more. my jobs have contained "sensative" information, so I always had to be careful with photos but I've still managed to document it.
