  1. Another great episode, loved hearing the episode with Shanna, she's such a sweet person. I am not a religious person but I think it's wonderful what she's doing, really helping people get better in touch with something important to them that they might have been losing sight of a bit, and no matter if it's a bible or scrapbooking stories, that's a wonderful thing. I loved the idea of doing that with a poetry book, it reminded me of altered books, which also gets extreme reactions from people, it was also a bit difficult telling people I was into altered books for fear of "YOU DO WHAT TO A BOOK!?!" I was very apprehensive in university when I went up to my english teacher and asked if I could do a Dante's Inferno altered book for the final project. Thankfully she loved the idea.

    1. Thank you Mikki - it's so refreshing to hear someone like you be so kind and polite although this was not your thing. I did worry that a lot of people wouldn't be interested but there are thousands that are so I had to do the show! LOL Thank you so much for your great comment and for listening!!

    2. Okay that "someone like you" came out weird. ha! I meant someone who isn't into journaling in their Bible. LOL

  2. I was so excited to listen to this episode! Just last week I had thought about e-mailing you to suggest that you focus on Shanna and the journaling Bible community. You read my mind! I love your podcast and look forward to it every week. One question: did you happen to find out which design(s) of the PL page protectors Shanna is cutting down to do a 9 x 12 version? I just can't bring myself to use the 12 x 12 size--it seems massive when you are used to 8 1/2 x 11! Thanks, ladies!

  3. I asked and she said... "I use design F and cut off the last right hand column of 3x4 pockets and save them for other things like shaker cards etc." Thanks for listening!!! Glad you enjoyed the topic!

  5. Let me start by saying I love your podcast. I've been listening from the beginning and look forward to it every week. That said, I was very disappointed this week to hear you were interviewing a guest speaker. Several other crafting podcast regularly do this and that's the very reason why I prefer your podcast. I love the casual conversations you two ladies have and do not always need to hear from the experts. I am certainly not going to stop listening but I really hope you are not changing to that format. Please do not except my comment as negative in any way, it is strictly feedback and one persons opinion.

    1. Sharon - I've been checking here every day for a comment just like yours! I knew some would not like that but I truly wanted to talk to her about it and I always want to follow my genuine passions in the world of art and share my enthusiasm vs. doing what we always do. We are not planning to do that very often, HOWEVER, we do have a few people we want to have with us in person and by calling in and we still plan to. We want a variety. Honestly, we're having trouble now not just repeating ourselves every week and coming up with topics that we feel we can talk about for an hour so having someone with us helps us have some new things to talk about. So we will be doing that just a little bit but it won't be a regular thing. Sorry it wasn't your cup of tea! This was just a particular topic that we wanted to highlight - we didn't talk to her because she's an "expert." I really don't want to be the show with all the experts - that's already out there and I want to be relate to all scrapbookers and crafters and art lovers, not just those who are "in the know." Thanks very much for your feedback! We want to know what our listeners think!! Thanks for listening!

    2. I was also a bit apprehensive when I saw that there would be a guest on this week's episode. I love your style and really enjoy just listening to you chat together. I was pleasantly surprised when I listened though, Shanna was a great guest with a unique and interesting topic (Bible journalling) that I had never heard of before. I really hope you can get some other guests who will fit right in, like Shanna, and keep the chatty, friendly tone of your fabulous podcast!

    3. Thank you Louise!!! We have our shows planned through the end of January and only have one or two people coming on with us. One is my friend Jann Gray who is a big talker and we talk to her like we do each other and she'll be with us in person so it will all be good! Thanks so much for the feedback!

  6. I've been listening since you started the podcasts and really enjoy each week. I was so excited to see Shanna Noel as your guest. I love her blog and especially the journaling bible topic. Thanks for doing this topic even though many may not be "into" it. I thought Tiffany's idea about altering a book of poetry or plays was great and would appeal to other listeners. I alternate between your podcast and PRT and between the two I get my creative fix! Thanks for a great show!
