Episode 91: Tales From the Crop

This week, we talk to Scrap Gals Listener Nicole Martins who just attended a three-day crop! We'll discuss making page kits, what she carried in her crop bag and whether or not her planning paid off in productivity! We'll also share some funny crop stories from the gals in our Facebook community.

  1. Listening right now - great episode!

  2. So enjoyed listening to this. I go to 3 weekend retreats a year and some day retreats. I live in WI also. I too make kits up but also do sketches ahead of time. I still always take too much stuff. Nicole was a great guest. I am new to following you and am sure enjoying the podcasts!

  3. loved this podcast and can totally relate! I also make page layouts/kits and package them in 12x12 Ziploc bags. my friends think that I'm super organized but I can't imagine doing it any other way. I never get everything done that I plan, but this way its organized for the next time. There was a time when I was going to a day (or sometimes weekend) crop once a month. It has slowed down now but I still use the same strategy. photos, paper, embellishments in a bag and ready at a moments notice :)loved the toolbox idea too. I remember dropping my caddy in a parking lot, in the dark after a crop once... oh my!!! thanks for sharing Nicole.
