Episode 138: Never Say This

A recent thread in our community sparked this episode. What are some things you really should never say to a scrapbooker? We talk about the comments our community members shared as well as our reactions to those comments and any similar experiences we've had. This is a fun episode that we hope almost everyone can relate to, even if it's only through vicarious outrage rather than personal experience.

Thanks for joining us for another fun episode; we're so glad you're here with us again this week!

  1. Loved this episode. I think I gasped out loud about 20 times. The one I relate to the most is the comments about not having children but still being a scrapbooker. For me, I do I have things to scrapbook but people wonder who I will be passing my scrapbooks onto and who am I doing this for in the long run.

  2. I just found your podcast through the get messy journal and I'm enjoying it so much. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the episodes. :-)

  3. Not said but I made a beautiful baby album for my sister in law (who makes snide Suzy homemaker comments about me regularly) for the birth of my nephew... and two for my brother and his wife when their twins were born... and they THREW THEM OUT... and told me. Don't freaking tell me!!!!

And DH asked me the other day how far 'behind' I am on scrapping ... so that was special.
